Sony records detailed 4K60 from 6K oversampling, 10-bit 4:2:2 files for more grading latitude, and cropped 4K120 for slow motion. It also provides both microphone and headphone connections. Those are useful capabilities for someone who will repeatedly make films, rather than a reason everyone needs to begin here.
The true price is a kit
The body price buys no lens. The focal length and aperture you choose will shape the picture as much as the sensor does. Compare a complete α6700 kit with a complete Fujifilm or Panasonic kit, rather than comparing body prices to a Canon V1 that already includes its zoom.
